February, SATURDAY, 8, 1862. This morning at 2 O clock we arrived at Washington When we went to start we played sharp on T.P. Moore in the way of Exchange of Robes and I expect he will be very mad but I cannot help it now. He and Sallie staid all night and came Home at Noon to day I have not had a chance to talk with T.P. yet but I know He is mad. this has been a very dull day in Point of trade but that [cind?] occur so Frequent now a day that we need not marvel. I feel very lonely this evening I wish I was back in Old Ohio Just a few days I think it would bring me right again Tomorrow I will have to sit in some old church all day I suppose
