February MONDAY, 17, 1862. This Pleasant morning finds me Laboring under an attack of a severe cold whitch I cannot account for but I feel more like being in bed than standing in this old store but I presume there is no alternative I will write more after a while, I have been Down at Home taking some medicines but I dont have much benefit as yet I am afraid I will get so bad that I will have to stay at Home there has been a very sudden change in the weather since morning it is now very Cold again I am getting so tired of cold weather I wish it was over..
