February, TUESDAY 18, 1862. The weather still continues very cold Consequently there is not much doing in the way of trade. I dont feel mutch better to day although I have got my Headache partly removed, Unkle Dan is complaining of having the Ear ache to I presume He has caught cold too. I dont feel well enough to make any Calls this Evening but I think by tomorrow Evening I will be all right on the Goose We are all anxious to have the mail to come in for we are expecting some important war news from Ft Donaldson and People are standing on the corners notwithstanding the cold weather and by their faces you can tell they want news
