March, TUESDAY, 4, 1862. It is very cold this morning and no mail yet no People in town trading whitch makes thing go off rather slowly, Unkle Dan Has not come back from Crawfordsville yet I am thinking He has His hands full this time I dont believe Hee will want to go again, It is now evening again and we still have no eastern mail There was a mail from Fairfield this evening It Brought me a letter from my Father it Head been miss sent to Washington Ills whictch accounts for me not hearing from Him so long it contains very good news as they were all well and had an increase in their Family go it James
