March, WEDNESDAY, 5 1862. This is the fourth day I have to record as not receiving any Eastern mail I must say it puts a Different face on things entirely to have no mail, I am so anxious to get some war news too this is another very dull day in our business the snow is drifted so bad that People cannot come to town the snow is Higher than the fences in Lanes running North & south. I think we have lost Unkle Dan for this winter for I think it impossible for Him to get Home, Mr Cleaves is geting better He was over to day to see us, those Dull days would be very nice time for me to write some letters but I am too careless about it and don't write any
