March, MONDAY, 10, 1862. This is another very Pretty day Mr Newsome staid with us until this morning we had a very Pleasant time Our women opened a Can of pieplant for Breckfast and made us all sick but Unkle and John their stomaches Proves to be better than ours. it is now evening and I dont feel much better Tom Allen has been here three times to day He wants me to take Him up and Introduce Him to the widdow but I hardly think I will I have just Paid Byron Parker a visit. He has Lost the use of His Limbs in a great measure and I think He stands a very slim chance to get well Iff He does it will require great care...
