March, WEDNESDAY, 12, 1862. This morning the weather is rather cold again and I am begining to think we are going to have another little winter. this is a very dull day for our business Scarcely any People in town to day and those who are in are not buying goods Iff it was not for the war news we would almost die off I think there is a great deal of sickness in the surrounding Country at this time but not much in Town Unkles folks are in their usual Health except Emily her eyes being much worse at presant Tom Allen has not been here to day I wonder what is the matter I wish the mail would come in soon for we are all anxious to hear the news
