March, FRIDAY, 14 1862. This is a very rainy morning and the rain Freezes as fast as it falls hence the roads become very slipery I received a present of some of the wedding cake this morning T.P. Moore was just in to see me He looks well I asked Him how He Liked it He said He had not tryed it yet. He went on over to the store My Elbows are very sore Lying on the counter I wish some one would come in and buy something the mail brought in no news of import this evening I answered my Brothers letter to day and also Miss Maggies note old John Moore is here gassing to me and I cannot think of any thing to write. one more day is Past in this old store I wish I could say it was the last for me..
