March SATURDAY, 15, 1862. This is rather a Pleasant day over but very muddy under foot we have more mud now than we have had in the Last two years there is Preaching at the O.P. Church to day they have Comunion on tomorrow I would Like to attend but I cannot Leave the store Mr Ball Died this morning at 4 o clock after an illness of some months He Leaves a very reckless Family in my opinion, the sun shines so warm to day that I am in hopes it will soon dry up the mud, as luck would have it I got to go to Church to day Mr Shearer Preached the Foundation of His remarks will be found in the first 7 verses of the 2nd Ch of Revelations.
