March, THURSDAY, 20, 1862. This morning is a perfect match for the one previous I hope it wont be another as dull a day I dont think I can stand it I wrote a letter to my Grandfather yesterday I dont know what to do to day.. The mail has just came in and we are looking for some Important war news I am looking for some letters there was another Soldier died to day He had been in the service some four or five months and came home about a week since His name was R.W. McConnell. I wish I was in the army and had some desirable position Mr Moon does not attend to his scales right the men have to Hunt him all over town when they want him.
