March, SATURDAY, 22, 1862. This is a very Pleasant morning and looks very much like spring is at hand It is one of the most Lovely days of the season, I wish I was back in old Ohio to visit some of the sugar camps and spend a few evenings with some of my old school mates, but I am deprived of that Privalege and I should be content with my lot, I wrote a letter to the Hon. J. A. Bingham also one to J. C. Harlen asking the favor of a few Garden seeds I am looking for the mail now every few moments perhaps I will get a letter and perhaps not, I wrote a letter to an old schoolmate to day it is now 5 o clock and all the Folks have left the store and I am alone.
