March, FRIDAY, 28 1862. This is the Prettiest days we have had this season but the roads are so bad People cannot come to Town and this makes very dull times I feel a great deal better to day but I was very sick yesterday. I got such a good nights rest last night. I Presume I will have to go to that party to night. The mail came in a while ago but there was nothing came for me as usual--and now I must go down home and fix for the Party we had a very good time but it was not much of a Party only two couples Mr Eddy and myself we staid till 1 o'clock and could hardly get away then I think we will try it again some time
