March, MONDAY, 31, 1862. This is a dull Cloudy day and not much doing in the goods trade I was at Preaching this forenoon and that I believe winds up the Program for this week in that line, I have been at home and eat a big dinner now I will swell round till evening and then I will go out calling as usual I think I will try and get Unkle Dan to go with me, the mail came in awhile ago but It brought me no letters and no Important war news that I have heard yet our folks are all as well as usual for my own part I feel better than I have done for several days past and now I will go home to supper
