April SUNDAY, 6, 1862. This was a very cold day and the wind blew very hard I went to the First U.P. Church Mr Wilson Preached from the 40 ch of Isaih and then I went to our Bible Class and then Johnathan young Shearer and myself went over to the store and Cooked some eggs and then we all went to Church and heard Mrs Shearer Preach a very good sermon, I would have liked to went home with a young lady that was there but I could not get out in time to make the connection but I will make that all up yet.
