April THURSDAY, 10, 1862. Another very dark and disagreeable morning this when I went home last night I had the pleasure of seeing Cousin Daniel Miller & his Lady by the way she is rather a good looking woman mutch better looking than I expected to see, Mail brought new this evening of our loss not being great as was anticipated our loss now is estimated at 5000 to 10000, more or less, our Family is in their usual health Dan Miller has a very severe cold he dont appear very well satisfyed with the country this time, I feel a little unwell this evening myself
