April, SATURDAY 12 1862. It is more rainy and muddy than usual this morning and I have given up having any better times the citizens raised a considerable [sum?] of money yesterday and started three men to the Late Battle grounds in Tenessee to attend to the wounded soldiers, the mail brings no additional news today. It is still raining yet and has the appearence of continuing I received no letters for some time, Iff our firm dont soon get some new goods I think I will leave them
