April, SUNDAY, 13 1862. This day was a little more moderate and the mud is drying up very fast. I went to church this morning, and heard a very good sermon by the Rev Shearer the text will be found in the 4th Chapter of Mark 36, 37 & 38 verses, I then went to the first U.P. church and heard the Rev Mr. Wilson Preach I don't remember his text, in the evening I called on a Lady and took Her to Church Mr.Shearer took his text in Genesis. I cannot mind the Chapter but the words were as follows. (Is it not a little one) we are all home now and about ready for bed so good night.
