April SATURDAY, 19, 1862. The weather Clear & Cold this morning and a large White frost I think perhaps it will rain to day from all appearence now as I anticipated I went Calling last evening and had a very good time I staid most too Long as usual but one dont always know when to comes home when they get out. We have no mail to day as yet. Last night Jonathan and Shearer went out a calling they anticipated a good time but it appears as Iff they were defeated for the old Lady seen fit to sit with them during the evening. I will go home and sleep like a fine fellow to night.
