April, SUNDAY, 20, 1862. The weather is very fine to day and I hope it will not rain any more for some time This morning I went to the Babtist Church and heard a sermon by the Rev Thompson his text will be found in the 71 Psalm 7 verse He is a very good Preacher the rest our Family all went to the U.P. Church and have not come home yet and Iff they dont soon come I will eat my dinner in the evening we all went to hear Mr. Shearer Preach He is going to give us a searies of Lectures on the prophesies he is to give us 6 and the one he gave us to night will make 7.
