May, WEDNESDAY, 7, 1862. This is another very nice morning. Unkle Dan is going out west with Mr Putnam the Tobacconist. He will get to see considerable of the Country and have a pleasant trip Generally I presume I wish I could go too. we have a very good trade to day and I feel very tired I have been standing all day. I was elected beggar to day for money to build an addition to O.P. Church but I am not coming very good speed, the mail to day brought us additional new with regard to the war I wish this war would cease soon..
