May, Saturday, 24, 1862. Another very beautiful morning and not mutch trading going on Last night I called on Miss Corothers and Miss Brownlee they are both very fine young ladies I think I will have to call on them again. Jonathan was calling at McClures. Hee feels very mutch Interested in that direction I think. the mail brought no additional news with regard to the war I wish this war was over I have got the blues very bad to day. Unkle George is confined to the House yet and from all appearences will stay there for some time yet I dont know what is to become of me.
