May, Wednesday, 28, 1862. A very fine Morning and everything looks prospering. I suppose we will not sell many goods to day for the weather being so fine the Farmers will not get to town. I was at home last night for the first night for a long time, and I slept too mutch I dont feel so good as I would like I will try it on to night and see how it will opperate. Mother and Unkle Dan went out to John Trimbles to day They Intend returning tomorrow Mother will Start for Ohio next week I shall feel very lonesome for a while.
