May, FRIDAY, 30, 1862. It is rather cloudy this morning and looks like it would rain soon. I had Intended to have a ride this evening but I could not get a rig so I shall be disappointed very mutch. It is raining some however and it would not have been very pleasant at any rate, Jonathan has arrangements made for going to the singing class this evening but the night being changed his calculations are Knocked in the head. I feel as though I dont care a Darn whether School keeps or not, Just so that the Schollars stay.
