June, SUNDAY, 8, 1862. This is by far the nicest day we have had this season and I have been to Church twice this morning I went to the 1st U.P.Church and heard Mr. Doig deliver a discourse His text- Behold Old things have passed away and all things have become new, this after noon I went to the Second U.P. Church they had Communion there to day. Mesrs Vanatti [Feat?] and McKee we present and addressed the communicants. After meeting I came home and eat a big dinner and then went to Bible Class and have just returned and I dont think I shall attend any more meetings to day but will go to bed and sleep.
