June, MONDAY, 9, 1862. It is a very fine day and we anticipate a heavy trade in our line. there was a lecture last evening on the signs of the times I was not there but I think that it was very good from what I hear. Jonathan appears to be pitching into the Preachers girl pretty strong I must look into it a little. the goods trade has been very moderate to day I think I will go home to night and get some rest for I am pretty near worn out going so much I would like to make a call to night but I believe I will defer it.
