June, TUESDAY, 17, 1862. A very fine day we had some rain last night and every thing looks like living this morning this has been rather a dull day in our business I think this Town will soon be played out iff this war dont soon cease. George is staying at home working in the Garden, I would like to hear from Dan, the Ladies of the O.P. Church are Getting up a large Festival for next Friday Evening. I presume they think they are at big business but I think they are playing the Devil. no mail to day yet but It will be along pretty soon,
