June, WEDNESDAY, 18, 1862. I is very cold and chilly this morning and looks as Iff it would rain Unkles Old cow had a Calf last night and this morning she is lying down and cannot get up, I believe He will lose her. I went home last night and got to bed early, and I feel the better of it too. Mr Cleaves & Lady has not returned yet, this day has been so Cold that all the people round the Square have kept fire pretty mutch. this has been a tolerable good day for trade. I believe I shall go home and take another good nights sleep tonight.
