June, THURSDAY, 10, 1862. This morning was very Cold I believe one would have been cold with an over Coat on, but as the day advanced it grew warmer, and now it is quite pleasant. the Ladies have been flisking around selling tickets of admission to the Festival all day I think they are playing Hell, I do, but I intend to go Iff it takes the Hair off. Cleaves & Lady have returned home Mrs Kyle came with them. they all Intend starting for Maine next Tuesday no preventing provid I feel rather unwell this evening myself but I hope all will be wright soon.
