June, FRIDAY, 27, 1862. It is raining like the Devil this morning and looks as Iff would rain all day I dont care a dam Iff it does, I suppose Mr Cleaves is in Chicgo this morning buying goods. there is some men here now holding a meeting called the 2nd. Advents but I dont think I shall attend There is selebration on Hands Tomorrow that I would like to attend but I fear I shall not be able, this evening is very warm I feel almost suffocated I think I shall go up and see Synthia this evening I have not held her for some time.
