June, MONDAY, 30, 1862. It is a splendid morning every thing looks fine ang gay. Sutch a plesant air astir I wish I was back in Old Ohio Just one week O how I would enjoy it. but I must stop this and prepare for buisness before the people come in. I now am at liberty again for a short time but have not much to write news came to day of another Fight near Richmond Va and our forces gained another Victory. Synthia and I have played quits and now I mean to stay at home. She is a very fine young Lady, and I hope she may see a great deal of Happines in this world.
