July, TUESDAY, 8, 1862. This was a very warm day and we had quite a rain to day and it rained tremendous hard last night I was at John K Dills weding to day. We had the nicest kind of a dinner. I would not fancy such a woman much. I think they were as green a couple as ever was yoked I hope it will be my lot never to see the like again. I believe I will Call on some of the Ladies for I will dry up staying in the House all the time. no Important news to day from the war.
