July, TUESDAY, 29, 1862. This is a very warm day and we are not selling many goods, but we are making more to keep them no war news of any Importence to day I think they will Draft in this State soon but I believe I would Just as soon be Drafted as any way for my part I dont see any difference in it. I cannot get any letters from home or any other Place I wish I could hear from Dan, and hear how he is making things work I,ll bet He is having a good time of it, I must go up and see Cynthia this evening for I hear she is not well.
