August, SATURDAY, 2, 1862. This has been a very plesant day We have Sold a good many goods to but the most of them on time the train was behind time to day it has Just arrived and it is now 6 O.ck in the evening. no war news as I have heard. We had a war speech by the Rev Cap somebody, of 2nd. Iowa Cavelry, it was rather a good speech but a little Politics in within it. I feel as Iff I ought to Enlist but I dont believe I could stand it but it is Saturday evening and I must prepare for sunday,
