August, SATURDAY, 9, 1862. It is rather more plesant this morning after Breckfast I started for Brighton and after Traveling arround through Bushes some two hours I arrived at that City I did not stop there but kept right on for home where I arrived about 2 O.clock and found them all well but very mutch Excited on the war. the men are Coming up and enlisting very fast and the Whole people are very excited. I think they will Draft soon or I would enlist and try it, but I fear I could not stand the fatigue but I suppose I will have to go any how.
