August, WEDNESDAY, 13, 1862. This is a very fine day and has been one of great excitement in town. Recruiting goes very slow. I think it is about played out here in this part of the country, but Al has great confidence in being able to raise a company, but Iff we succeed it will pass my expectation now. I have not been in the store to day I attended the Picnic I did, It was a perfect success. but Picnics are played out when it comes to the war question, there is an Exihibition of Mr Carys Panorama this evening It is no account,
