August, SATURDAY, 16, 1862. It is somewhat cloudy this morning and looks like rain I think we will not recruit much to day but we must make the effort any how, we only recruited two or three men to day I think we will get up our Company however, I Should like to call on Synthia Iff it were not Saturday evening but I think my calls to see her are played out, so I suppose I can go home and sleep to night the Democracy had a convention to day to nominate Candidates for the County Offices but they Cant be elected,
