August, THURSDAY, 21, 1862. It is very pleasant to day but as Iff it would rain before night I hope it will I am thinking we are going to fail in getting up our Company any how for neither of us are very well Calculated to Solicit recruits. Old Bledsaw did not come up according to promise and I think we will have to give it up. I think I will call on Miss Lida this evening Tomorrow will be the big day in Town for Mr Burgesses comp are coming through here to camp, we must up and a doing or we will be out.
