August, SUNDAY, 24, 1862. A lovely day this there is a wedding party at the Hotel I have been up there [sheving?] their Women for them. it is the first daylight hold I have had since I came to the state. I have not been to Church to day but I have been Boarding, at the Hotel and talking to the women to night I went to hear Mr Mark howl awhile Just to have it so say that I went to church, People are getting all right on these half assed dead head preachers, no war Excitement to day people are a little more calm,
