August, TUESDAY, 26, 1862. A very plesant morning this I was out at a party last evening and I fell rather out of fix this morning but I presume it will work off during the day. I have been troubled with sore throat all day and it is very sore this evening. Old Briggs the notion pedler has been here to day & George has taken one of his strange freaks and pitched in, but he Should know his own business best we are not selling very mutch these times I know not the reason, I suppose the prices are too high,
