August, THURSDAY, 28, 1862. This is a beautiful day but very dull Unkle George and his Wife went out to get Plumbs to day and I am left alone in the store and nothing to do I wish I was out of this Town for a few months Just to see Iff my health would not get better I am so tired of the store. Jonathan wants me to go over and see the Miss Bradens this evening, it is a nice evening but I am unwell so I do not expect to enjoy the trip very much Gerge and Family have not returned yet.
