August, SATURDAY, 30, 1862. It is Cloudy and threatens rain very much it getting very warm again too, we had a little fight to day on our side of the square considerable of pulling Hair and gouging, but when the Boys all get off to war we will have a very quiet Town and Iff I dont get to go I shall spend my time all right with the Ladies I will, but I think I will go to war I do. there has been a great many Drunk men in Town to day George was out Drilling with the home guard to day he is a soldier.
