or not the draft will soon in this district Samuel Wells has got a substitute and Hyman Rose and that is all that I know fo Mr Bellden died about 2 weeks ago he died insane he starved him self to Death Mr Balcom is dead he was not sick but a few days died of inflamation of the lungs Edwin Rose died in the Hospital near Peters Burg with the measals his funeral Sermon was preacht at Clearcreek last Sabbath well I must close hoping to here from you soon we are all well Frank has got to be quite healthy please excuse all mistakes in this letter my hand trembles and it is hard for me to write good by Diantha M Darling
