March the 2 I once more take the silent but ever faithful pen to converse with my long and absent but not forgotten son who I so mutch long to see it seems that months are years when I look forward and think of the time and days that must elaps before you can come home if your life and health is spard which is the prayer of my hart but God onely knows what sorrows the poor Mother has to endure that have sons in this cruel rebellion it seems that my sorrows are more than I can endure when I think of your poor Brother and his sad fate O how could I endure another sitch a trial but all my troubles and sorrows must end but not untill I go down to our mother earth there is some circumstances connected with your brothers Death whitch causes us all a grate deal of trouble and I have not tould you a bout in any of my prieveous letters but will now
