(Continued from May 24, 1864 in book) Thursday May 26th. 1864 Diary of Army Life Lay still all day continual skirmishing all of the time built some Rifle Pits and drew rations no one of our Regiment wounded today Friday May 27th. Lay in position all day skirmishing all of the time one or two of our Regt wounded slightly. Isaac Smith sick and sent back to the Hospital. Saturday May 28th. Lay in position all day Skirmishing all of the time no one of our Regiment hirt, relieved at dark and went back a little ways. Sunday May 29th/64 Lay in the third line all day Skirmishing all of the time wrote a letter to Mother but forgot when I sent it. Monday May 30th. Relieved the 134th N.Y.V. in the front line lay all day and nigth Skirmishing all of the time no one hirt. warm and pleasant Tuesday May 31st. Relieved in the morning and went back to the third line. Skirmishing all of the time no one hirt of our Regiment. Wednesday June lst/64 Our Corps was relieved by the fifteenth and we marched around the left about htree miles our Regiment on picket tonight Thursday June 2d,, Marched at about noon about a mile the twenty third Corps in front and the twentieth supporting it, an awful rain today I got wet completely through lay quiet all night rainy all of the time
