I dont know when I shall have a chance to send this but thought I would write when I had a chance and send it when I got a chance. I hope this Campaign will soon be ended for I am getting tired and so are all of the boys, though so far we have been very successful as I can learn from Va,, and I know that here we have drove them a long ways. it is very warm here now days I will close hoping to get a letter from home soon now do not fail to write often you must all remember that If I do not write it is because I have not time or that there is no chance to send a mail. I remain as ever your Son and Soldier Marcellus W. Darling perhaps I shall have a chance to write more before I send this Cell Darling yours in haste P.S. Tell all to write for I want letters (Vertically, at bottom right:-) there is still a chance to send mail Now write often Thursday June 2d,,/64 6-30 minuets P.M. the mail goes out at eight this evening, and I shall send this. all is well with me yet it has rained hard this P.M.
