Monday Sept,,12th,,1864 Draw one days rations soft bread no rain in some time pleasant Tuesday Sept,,13th,,1864 drew some Sugar today two days I believe. all quiet as far as I can hear the whole army lays here now pleasant Wednesday Sept,,14th,,1864 No rain yet pleasant drew five (5) days rations today except Bread and four of that (Hard Tack) Thursday Sept,, 15th,,1864 No rain or rations today pleasant cool nights drew a Poncho Blanket one Shelter Tent two prs Socks Friday Sept 16th,, 1864 no rations today pleasant but cool nights. Saturday Sept 17th,,/64 No rain, or rations to issue today pleasant commenced raining in the Evening and rained some through the night. Our Brigade was reviewed this P.M. by Gen. Geary
