Camp near Falmouth January 27th,, I863 I have got in off of picket and will try to finish my Epistle. The mail came in last night and I got a letter from Libbie and Charly I was very glad te hear from home it being some time since I have heard We are now within half a mile of our old Camp where we stayed ever since we got to Fredericksburg. This morning when I was on my post one of the Rebs forded the River to within about two rods
