There is a paper printed in this Town now, I will send you one in a few days so you can see the yankee spirit in Savannah Georgia. I have not much to say only that I am well and think I shall remain so. The chaplain gave me this sheet of paper today, so I will write to you on it. Your last letter that I have rec'd. was November 6th,, 1864. I have got Byron Allen's picture. I did not think to tell you where to direct, but it will come all right if you directed
