We entered this- city one month ago today the rebels leaving the night before. I have not received only one or two letters sinee we came here. I got one today from Mother today with the pleasing inteligence that Deloss had been released from the rebel prison and they expected him home. I was very pleased to hear from him and to hear that he was as well as he was. I hope he is with you now and enjoying good apples and cider muchly. I have not yet heard from my money sent home to Simon before we left Atlanta Geo. and I am a little fearful it is lost Edgar heard from his money over a month since.
