I sent to you for a pair of Shirts and two pairs of Stockings and I do hope you will get this letter if you do not send some dark or red woolen.  I
expect you will have to buy the cloth but I will send you some money ten dollars in this that is all I can spare now before we get pay again then I will send enough more.
Yesterday was the first mail we have rec'd. since Feb 2nd,, when I rec'd,, the letter from Aunt Mary informing me of Deloss's death we had no
chance to send out mail then,  today I rec'd,, a letter of Feb. 19th,, from Aunt Mary and two from you dated Feb 1st,, & 16th,, one from Libbie Feb 8th,, and one from Ettie of Jan 29th,,
I tell you now it did me good to hear from you once more  it has
been so long. Our Colonel Jones has been made a Brig General and
returned yesterday. we all think a great deal of him.
I have not much to time to write tonight so I will close 
hoping you are all as well as myself
